Today Marks a New Day

So yes it's been over a year since I've last Blogged, but I do have a good excuse. You see my computer was too full to download pictures from our camera and so I have NO pictures from 2010 - how sad is that!! Okay, well I don't but Rob does.. so now that my computer is clean and ready to go, I will try to post more often.

Can I just say that I've got the greatest parents in the world!!

Another one of our favorite traditions is to have a December dinner at their home.

And every year we gather around to sing just as Santa decides to stop by for a visit!

My kids LOVE this! It is the only chance they get to give them their list :)

I love to see the Temple.. especially at Christmas time.

Every year we ask the kids what they would like to do & every year they shout out "go to the temple lights!!" We love going downtown to see the beautiful lights. We have made it a tradition to rent a room at Little America so after we freeze from walking around downtown we can come and warm up in the heated pool at the hotel before going to bed to wake up to a HUGE breakfast with Santa. We have made some pretty wonderful memories there & I am so grateful for the promise of the Temple that we can be Together Forever!

I am SO Thankful

Every time we remember to say "thank you", we experience nothing less than a little bit of heaven on earth.

I am so thankful for my family. I have an amazing husband who loves me. I have 3 kids who bring joy everyday through their smiles and laughter. I have wonderful parents and brothers and sisters that fill my life with happiness. I am thankful for my friends. I am thankful for my health. I am thankful for the gospel. I am thankful for my Savior. I am thankful for the temple.

Thank you for all that I have been blessed with! Happy Thanksgiving! My your heart be full this day!!

A Seriously Messed Up Witch!!

Doesn't she make the perfect MesSed Up wiTch! If you know Elise you know how CRAZY she is and how she loves to have FUN! This was the perfect Halloween costume for her! She decided all on her own what she wanted and then came up with her own costume! I was SO impressed and I had fun taking these pics--

Life gives us brief moments with our family... but sometimes in those brief moments we make memories that will last a life time! Bear Lake is a time where we come together as an entire family for a few short days and play and make those memories that will forever stay with us. Life is not a journey with the goal of arriving quietly and safely in one piece... but a chance to twist the throttle till it sticks wide open... to jump over, slide under, or hammer thru obstacles... to look fear in the eye and backhand it in the head... to skid, slip, or stumble across the finish line... out of gas, leaking oil and blood, covered in DIRT and free from regrets!

The morning of Coleton's birthday I asked him what he wanted to do-- I should have expected it. Racing Go Karts at Larry H Miller Motorsports. Papa came to watch --he should have known better than that, we wouldn't let him sit this one out :P I think the boys had a lot of fun! I think we will be heading back real soon!
